If you’re out of GSM range and need to manage your Vanemar system, such as silencing alarms or regaining control, don’t worry! Vanemar includes a built-in Bluetooth functionality to help you manage the system locally. Follow the steps below to resolve issues, even when offline.
Step-by-Step Guide to Silencing Alarms Using Bluetooth
Stay Close to the Main Module (Gateway): Ensure you are physically near the gateway for Bluetooth connectivity.
Open the Vanemar App: Launch the app on your smartphone.
Find the Yellow Banner: At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see a yellow banner that says “Device Offline.”
Tap the Question Mark Icon: Next to the “Device Offline” text, there is a small question mark (?) icon. Tap it.
Select “Get Help”: A menu will appear; select the “Get Help” option.
Choose “Connect via Bluetooth”: Follow the prompts to establish a Bluetooth connection to the gateway. Once connected, you’ll be able to silence the alarm and make necessary adjustments.
